Hi everyone,
Making this post to understand better about the prospects of paper business in India and especially more light on CK Birla group company - Orient Paper Mills. In March 2023, the company recorded a PAT of 99.25 Cr, a significant turnaround from the COVID impact in FY22 and FY21 - during which the company made net losses of 28.8 Cr and 46.55 Cr respectively. The revenue run rate during Q1 FY2024 reflected significant leaps towards continuous profitability - 32 Cr v/s 2 Cr in June 2022.
However, the in September quarter the company reported a net loss of 16 Cr. Because of lack of any information in the public domain, can anyone guide me to understand the drivers behind this degrowth ?
