Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “Multiple programmes are attended taking the assistance of helicopters. It is unfortunate that some people think that helicopter travel is a pleasure. Does not Congress chief ministers travel by helicopter. Just give me one name where a Congress chief minister does not move in a helicopter.” Opposition parties are criticising Assam chief minister for chopper travel. They alleged that the state exchequer is unnecessarily burdened by this travel.
