Rashtriya Lok Dal president Jayant Chaudhary expressed his appreciation for the Centre’s decision to award Bharat Ratna to former prime minister Chaudhary Charan Singh, stating that it had won his heart. The Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly also discussed the matter, with Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav, Speaker Satish Mahana, and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna all praising the decision and commending the agricultural leader.
