The BJP has announced two candidates for the upcoming Rajya Sabha polls in Rajasthan, excluding outgoing MP Bhupender Yadav. The Congress is yet to declare a candidate. The BJP is expected to secure both seats, while the Congress has the numbers to win one. Elections for 56 Rajya Sabha seats across 15 states are scheduled for February 27. The BJP has named 14 candidates so far, with more to be announced in the coming days. Several BJP ministers whose terms are ending in the Rajya Sabha may be fielded in the general elections.
