Himachal Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania suspended 15 BJP MLAs, including Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur, for misbehavior and shouting slogans in the House, leading to its adjournment. Thakur had expressed apprehension earlier that the suspensions were intended to facilitate the passage of the budget.
