Following the election of Congress party leader Syed Nasir Hussain as a Rajya Sabha member in Karnataka, drama ensued when allegations surfaced that some Congress members raised ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans at the Vidhana Soudha. Police registered a suo motu FIR and the BJP filed an FIR, sparking protests outside the police station.
