Trinamool chief Mamata Banerjee addressed a public rally in Bengal, addressing the resignation of election commissioner Arun Goel and expressing gratitude for his refusal to succumb to BJP pressure. Banerjee criticized the Centre for the LPG gas hike and withholding of MGNREGA and other central funds, stating that they had earned ₹70,000 crore through an increase in cooking gas prices.
