Pratibha Industries shares surged around 6 per cent in the morning trade on Thursday after the company informed stock exchanges that it has bagged an order worth of Rs 1,023.62 crore from Telangana government.
In a BSE filing, the company said, “We have secured a work order from Government of Telangana, Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Department, TWPS, Circle, Karimnagar (Water Supply Project) for package (A) Providing drinking water to habitations in LMD-Karimnagar, Ramadugu Segment (B) Providing drinking water to habitations in LMD-Manakondur, Husnabad, Huzurabad segment including operations and maintenance, for 10 years.”
The project is to be completed within 30 months from the date of commencement.
At 10.06 am, Shares of Pratibha Industries were trading 5.98 per cent up at Rs 41.65. The scrip opened at Rs 39.30 and had touched a high and low of Rs 43 and Rs 39, respectively, intrade so far. Sensex was down 0.36 per cent at 26,456.
