Two Trinamool Congress parliamentarians, Barrackpur MP Arjun Singh and Tamluk MP Dibyendu Adhikari, switched to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday. Singh, who had previously joined the BJP in 2019 before returning to the TMC in 2022, cited post-election violence in West Bengal as a reason for his return to the BJP.
