At 10:02 a.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 149.00 points, or 0.38%, at 38,756.66, the S&P 500 was down 33.83 points, or 0.66%, at 5,116.65. Eight of the 11 major S&P 500 sectors were trading lower, with information technology being the worst hit, down 1.4%.
