“ECI has lost its dignity”: Shiv Sena (UBT) attacks Election Commission over voting in PM Modi’s constituency Varanasi in last phase

Shiv Sena (UBT) spokesperson Anand Dubey criticized the Election Commission for scheduling the Lok Sabha elections in Varanasi, the Prime Minister’s constituency, in the last phase, alleging favoritism. The Model Code of Conduct (MCC) came into effect as the Election Commission announced the election dates for Lok Sabha and four state assemblies. The general election for 543 Lok Sabha seats will be held in seven phases from April 19, with counting on June 4.
