Prime Minister Narendra Modi has linked the target of 370 with the removal of Art. 370 in the erstwhile state J&K. The Modi government had scrapped Article 370 of the Constitution, which accorded special status to the erstwhile state in August 2019 soon after returning to power for a second time.
