ED questions Delhi Minister Kailash Gahlot in excise policy case
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has questioned Kailash Gahlot, Delhi's transport minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader, regarding the state's liquor policy case. Gahlot, part of the group of ministers that directed the restructuring of the excise policy, was asked about his connection with Vijay Nair, AAP's former communication-in-charge and a co-accused. Gahlot clarified that he was not residing in the official bungalow allotted to him, where Nair was reportedly living. He also stated that he was never involved in the Goa election campaign.
