SC warns, asks Ajit faction for order compliance proof
The Supreme Court has asked Ajit Pawar's faction of the NCP to provide details of newspaper advertisements published since the court's March 19 order regarding the use of the 'clock' symbol. This follows a petition by NCP president Sharad Pawar, accusing the Ajit faction of violating the court's order. The court had directed the Ajit faction to declare publicly that their use of the 'clock' symbol is subject to the outcome of the challenge by the Sharad Pawar faction. The court warned of serious consequences for non-compliance.
