Shanghai Composite Index slumped by 2.88%, and continued its downward trend. According to media reports, China’s stock market has now lost more than 5% in the last three trading sessions. All efforts by Beijing to prop-up the markets seem to go in vain. CSI 300 Index lost more than 3%, signalling that the confidence of investors is still jittery.
