Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav recently held a joint rally in UP’s Amroha. Yadav expressed optimism about the first phase of polling, labeling the BJP’s efforts on the first day as a “flop.” Gandhi highlighted Congress’ promises, such as the Mahalakshmi scheme, which he believes will be revolutionary. The alliance has fielded sitting MP Danish Ali for the Amroha seat. BJP’s candidate from Moradabad Lok Sabha seat, Kunwar Sarvesh Kumar, passed away at the age of 72 after being unwell for some time.
