The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty opened in red on Tuesday tracking weak global cues. At 9.35 am, Sensex was trading 131.35 points down at 25,990.05. NSE Nifty was trading 43.25 points down at 7,871.95.

Hindustan Petroleum Corp Ltd (HPCL): Shares of the company fell by 5.5 per cent after the firm reported a net loss of Rs 320.50 crore for the July-September quarter.
Gammon Infrastructure Projects: Share price of the company surged as much as 10 per cent in the morning trade on Tuesday after the company informed BSE that its wholly owned subsidiary – Pravara Renewable Energy (PREL), has completely synchronized its 30MW bagasse based cogeneration power project at Pravaranagar, Ahmednagar district in Maharashtra on Nov 6, 2015 and started the commercial production of electricity and export of power to state grid.
NBCC: National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) on Tuesday informed BSE that the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has conveyed its intent to entrust the work for development of JPN Trauma Centre Campus at AIIMS to NBCC.
NHPC: Shares of state-run public sector company rose nearly 6 per cent after the company posted a 72.62 per cent jump in net profit in the September quarter. It was trading 3.09 per cent up at Rs 18.35 at 12.50 pm.
Jet Airways: Naresh Goyal-promoted private carrier on Monday said that it will acquire 75 fuel-efficient 737 MAX 8 aircraft from US plane maker Boeing.
InterGlobe Aviation: InterGlobe Aviation, which runs no-frills carrier IndiGo, made a strong debut on the bourses on Tuesday at an opening price of Rs 856 on BSE. The shares surged over 15 per cent against the issue price in the early trade.
Larsen & Toubro: Infrastructure major Larsen and Toubro has decided to sell it to Adani Kattupalli Ports Private, a subsidiary of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone. As part of this initiative, Larsen and Toubro has inked an in-principle agreement with Adani Kattupalli Ports.
Tata Power: Tata Power on Monday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 247.31 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, on increase in revenue. The company posted net loss of Rs 77.75 crore in the same quarter last year.
Jain Irrigation: Jain Irrigation on Monday post market hours reported a net loss of Rs 29.5 crore in the September quarter against that of Rs 23.6 crore in the year-ago period.
Pfizer: Drug firm Pfizer will remain in focus on Tuesday as the company on Monday after market hours reported a multi-fold jump in its standalone net profit at Rs 61.64 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2015. The company reported a net profit of Rs 1.76 crore in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
Oil India: State-owned Oil India Ltd on Monday reported an 11 per cent rise in its second quarter net profit at Rs 674.80 crore, helped by higher realisation on crude oil sales. The company’s net profit in the July-September quarter a year ago stood at Rs 608.33 crore.
Indian Hotels: Tata group’s hospitality firm Indian Hotels Company on Monday reported narrowing of its consolidated net loss at Rs 53.64 crore for the September quarter. The company posted a net loss of Rs 97.69 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
Dr Reddy’s Laboratories: Dr Reddy’s Laboratories on Monday said the US Food and Drug Administration has directed it to get a third party assessment of all of its manufacturing plants with regard to certain procedures. Dr. Reddy’s CEO G V Prasad also said the company is in the process of shifting some of the products to other plants in the wake of warning letters.
Central Bank: State-run Central Bank of India on Monday posted 9.67 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 112.87 crore for the July-September quarter of 2015-16 fiscal. The bank reported Rs 102.91 crore net profit in the similar period last year.
Balaji Telefilms: Balaji Telefilms Ltd on Monday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 7.28 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015. The company posted a consolidated net loss of Rs 7.57 crore in the year-ago period.
