Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan has given his assent to five Bills passed by the state assembly, which had been pending for a long time. The Bills include amendments related to land assignment, cooperative societies, paddy wetlands, dairy cooperation, and the Abkari law. Governor Khan mentioned that the assent was given a few days ago, and details were revealed after the conclusion of the general elections in the state. The Congress party criticized the assent, suggesting that the Governor comes to the rescue of the Left government when it is in trouble.
