Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of helping Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna escape authorities in an alleged obscene video case. Revanna was booked in a sexual harassment case following complaints from his former house help. Kharge questioned the BJP-JDS alliance for fielding Revanna again in the Lok Sabha elections and questioned their silence over the matter.
