The Election Commission of India announced that the biennial election for four seats of the Maharashtra Legislative Council will be held on June 10, with counting on June 13. Incumbent MLCs’ six-year tenure ends on July 7. Current representatives include Kapil Patil, Vilas Potnis, Niranjan Davkhare, and Kishore Darade. Nomination filing deadline is May 22.
