Former Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa announced on Saturday that the saffron party and JD(S) would jointly contest the upcoming Legislative Council elections, scheduled for June 3. Yediyurappa assured that the BJP-JD(S) alliance would remain intact despite cases being filed against present Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna over alleged sexual abuse of several women.
