Sensex, Nifty, Share Prices LIVE: Asian stocks started positively on Thursday, following the lead of Wall Street’s strong performance. Japan’s Nikkei 225 rose by 0.58% to 38,608.15, and the broader Topix index was down by 0.19% to 2,725.66. South Korea’s KOSPI surged 1.47% to 2,770.52, while Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 climbed 1.34% to 7,857.90. On Wall Street, all three major indices reached new record highs after a lower-than-expected increase in consumer inflation raised hopes for Federal Reserve interest rate cuts. The Dow Jones Industrial Average increased by 0.88% to 39,908.00, the S&P 500 rose by 1.17% to 5,308.15, and the Nasdaq Composite gained 1.40% to 16,742.39, marking its second consecutive record close.
