The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) postponed the mayoral polls in April citing non-appointment of presiding officer by the LG. However, the LG office has denied receiving any new requests from the Chief Minister’s office. The Supreme Court had granted bail to Arvind Kejriwal on May 10 in the Excise Policy case.
