Deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis is likely to meet with home minister Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Fadnavis wants to resign from his post and focus on working for the party full-time after the BJP’s poor performance in the Maharashtra Lok Sabha polls. Despite efforts from his supporters to convince him otherwise, Fadnavis remains firm in his decision. He believes that the BJP could still come to power in the upcoming assembly polls.
