Gandhi, Ambedkar, Shivaji statues relocated in Parliament to ensure Oppn can’t hold protests: Congress
The Congress alleged that statues of Mahatma Gandhi, B R Ambedkar, and Chhatrapati Shivaji were relocated in Parliament to prevent Opposition protests. Congress criticised the move as a tactic to save PM Modi's government. The Lok Sabha Secretariat explained that the statues were moved for better visibility and a new 'Prerna Sthal' is being developed. Critics, including CPI and TMC, condemned the relocation, calling it a disrespect to national icons.
