“Violence by uniformed personnel may have serious ramifications and must be condemned,” says Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar

Punjab BJP president Sunil Jakhar condemned the incident at Chandigarh airport where Kangana Ranaut was slapped by a CISF constable. He stated that violence is unacceptable for expressing dissent. He expressed concern over a security staffer resorting to physical assault, questioning the timing and support for the attacker. Jakhar warned that such incidents could incite more violence, endangering harmony and lives. The CISF has since suspended the constable involved.
