Mohan Charan Majhi’s family in Bhubaneswar was surprised when he became the Chief Minister of Odisha, a miraculous development they were unaware of. His wife, mother, and son expressed pride and disbelief, expecting him to secure a ministerial berth in the new BJP cabinet. Majhi’s elevation to CM also brought celebrations in his native village Keonjhar.
