Three sitting ministers from the previous Arunachal Pradesh government were not included in the new council of ministers led by Chief Minister Pema Khandu, who, along with his deputy and 10 others, were sworn in. The ceremony had prominent figures like Amit Shah and J P Nadda present. The exclusion of certain ministers was attributed to poor performance, resulting in new faces.
