Baramati may soon see another Pawar vs. Pawar battle. Following the previous contest between Supriya Sule and Sunetra Pawar, there might be a new clash between Yugendra Pawar, son of Shriniwas Pawar, and his uncle Ajit Pawar, the sitting MLA from Baramati. A delegation recently urged NCP chief Sharad Pawar to field his grand-nephew Yugendra for the upcoming Assembly elections.
