The Congress criticised Prime Minister Modi during his visit to Bihar for not fulfilling his promise of granting the state special category status and denying Patna University central university status. Jairam Ramesh questioned why Bihar remained the poorest state despite his pledges. Ramesh also raised concerns about the NEET-UG 2024 paper leak and the delayed construction of the Bihta airport. He urgied the PM to address these issues.
