National Conference leader Omar Abdullah criticized Prime Minister Modi for not addressing the NEET controversy in Parliament, focusing instead on attacking the opposition. Abdullah stressed the importance of discussing the NEET issue, which affects many students. PDP president Mehbooba Mufti also called for Parliamentarians to raise the NEET issue. Meanwhile, Abdullah congratulated newly elected MPs and called for the release of MP-elect Sheikh Abdul Rashid. He also demanded broader amnesty for detainees and the transfer of prisoners back to Jammu and Kashmir.
