Momentum etf will take all stocks in that index. But if you select top 10 or 20 it will give superior returns. Also in any momentum startegy, the secret of success depends on two factors
- less number of stocks
- more frequent re-balance. Weekly rebalance will be better than monthly rebalance and monthly will be better than quarterly rebalance.
So ETf will not have these pre-requisites.
