President Droupadi Murmu will address the joint sitting of Parliament today, marking her first address after the formation of the third NDA government. Following her address, a motion of thanks will be discussed in both Houses. The 18th Lok Sabha session began on Monday, with the Rajya Sabha session starting today. Om Birla was re-elected as Lok Sabha Speaker. In his speech, Birla called for a new vision and resolve for the 18th Lok Sabha. Rahul Gandhi emphasized the importance of allowing the opposition’s voice in the House and congratulated Birla on his re-election.
