Delhi Water Minister and AAP leader Atishi was discharged from Lok Nayak Hospital on Thursday after being admitted due to health issues from her indefinite hunger strike. Atishi began her strike on June 22, demanding Haryana release Delhi’s water share. The AAP claims Haryana is withholding 100 million gallons of water per day, impacting 2.8 million people. Though the hunger strike ended, AAP vows to continue pressing the issue in Parliament. Amid Delhi’s high temperatures, water shortages have led residents to rely on tankers for daily needs.
