Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar expressed his anger over opposition leader Mallikarjun Kharge entering the House’s Well during an opposition protest. The House witnessed three adjournments due to protests and sloganeering. Dhankhar was surprised that Indian parliamentary tradition would allow such behavior, and adjourned proceedings until 2 pm.
