The Indian equity market closed with fantastic gains on Thursday tracking strong cues from the US, Asian and European markets. The BSE Sensex opened at 25,640, touched an intra-day high of 25,885 and low of 25,603. It finally ended with a gain of 359 points at 25, 842.
