Just for our information , If plan Capex was not 0.5% of GDP in 2000-01, what is the correct figure ? As per the CAG report I have , it was 0.5%

We may differ in our views , but I strongly belive stock market valuation and business cycle are related, though there may be some disconnection between the two for a short duration. But the market corrects in due course
The stock price is strongly driven by financial performance of a business which in turn depends upon the business cycle.
3.Yes , true, during 2003-07 ,there was a stock market boom in in real estate , infra , power stocks which collapsed as this was beyond fundamentals, and not backed by sustained earnings.
- I think your graph in defence budget is clear.- from 2020.onwards , it is on a sharp increase naturally it is reflecting in performance of defence companies.
As I can see from your graph capex push in fact has started from 2020-21.
You may please refer to the 4th para from bottom to get Plan capex as a % of GDP.
