In the sectoral landscape, Nifty Financial Services and PSU Bank each dipped more than 1%, along with losses in Nifty Auto, Healthcare, Consumer Durables, and Oil & Gas. The broader market also felt the pressure, with Nifty Midcap100 and Nifty Smallcap100 declining 0.4% and 0.6%, respectively.
