Indices extended their winning streak to the second consecutive trading session led by the PSU banking stocks followed by capital goods, metals and realty stocks. The NSE Nifty opened at 7,911 hitting a high of 7,959 and low of 7,879, before ending with a gain of 59 points at 7,943. The India VIX (Volatility) index was up 0.25% to 16.73.
