Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has accused opposition parties of defaming the country and claimed there is a campaign to project that minorities are not safe in India. Speaking at an event organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) minority morcha in Delhi, he emphasized that India is known as a safe haven for minorities, even those seeking refuge from neighboring countries experiencing tension or disturbance.
