Rupee sees mild relief amid uptick in Asia peers
The Indian rupee improved slightly to 83.95 against the U.S. dollar after hitting a record low. Gains in Asian currencies and interventions by the Reserve Bank of India provided support, although outflows from local equities and corporate dollar demand posed challenges.
