BJP’s Sudhanshu Trivedi accused the Samajwadi Party of backing criminals following recent rape incidents involving its leaders. He pointed to the arrests of Nawab Singh Yadav and Moeed Khan. The Samajwadi Party said these individuals were not active members and distanced themselves from the accused in official statements.
