Conduct of neutral, non-partisan probe necessary, says K’taka Guv allowing prosecution against CM
Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot has granted sanction for prosecution against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in connection with the Mysuru Urban Development Authority site allotment scandal. The Governor emphasized the need for a neutral investigation and expressed satisfaction that the allegations disclose the commission of offenses. The decision follows a petition filed by advocate-activist T J Abraham and a dispute with the Karnataka government over the Governor's showcause notice to the Chief Minister.
