Devendra Fadnavis, Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister, declared he would quit politics if CM Eknath Shinde affirmed he obstructed the Maratha quota. Shinde defended Fadnavis, calling Manoj Jarange’s accusations groundless. Jarange blamed Fadnavis for impeding the Maratha community’s reservation, citing administrative delays despite promised efforts to grant Kunbi certificates.
