Kharge and Rahul Gandhi will arrive in Jammu on August 21 and after holding some meetings there, will fly to Srinagar the same evening. The visit assumes significance as both Congress and National Conference (NC) have expressed inclination for a strategic ‘pre-poll alliance’, especially in Jammu division, where the BJP is claiming that it will get a majority of the seats.
