Chouhan accused Hemant Soren of being responsible for the current state of affairs in Jharkhand and stated that he deceived many people, including his own relatives – “aisa koi saga nahi jisko Hemant Soren ne thaga nahi.” Champai Soren’s decision to form a new political outfit follows a period of what he described as “bitter humiliation” during his tenure as Jharkhand chief minister.
