Omar Abdullah confirmed that the National Conference and Congress have settled on a seat-sharing formula for the majority of assembly seats in Jammu and Kashmir. Discussions are still ongoing for a few seats. The elections, the first since Article 370’s abrogation, will occur in three phases starting September 18.
