Congress MLA Ravikumar Gowda accused the BJP of attempting to destabilize the Karnataka government, led by Siddaramaiah, through a scheme dubbed ‘Operation Kamala’. He claimed that the BJP is offering Rs 100 crore to entice Congress legislators to defect. Despite these efforts, Gowda asserted that the government remains stable and strong, and no Congress MLA would succumb to the bribes.
