Zerodha founder Nithin Kamath highlighted a SEBI study showing Gujaratis, despite being 9% of the investor base, represent 40% of IPO participation. Kamath humorously noted that IPO trading seems embedded in Gujarat’s culture, as reflected in retail and HNI categories.
