The company said in a notice to the BSE that Maithon Power Ltd, a 74% joint venture of the company, has issued and allotted senior, non-cumulative, redeemable, listed, rated, secured non-convertible debentures (NCDs) for an amount of Rs.500 crore on private placement basis.
